FreeBSD 9.0 Release nareszcie

Po długim czasie i obsunięciach czasowych udało się wreszcie. Gdy piszę ten post to na stronie FreeBSD.org nie ma jeszcze informacji o nowej wersji, ale niedługo się pojawi. W tej chwili ściągam plik ISO z jednego z serwerów.
Wśród wielu nowości należy wymienić szczególnie te największe:
- Capsicum Framework,
- rtcl(8) Resource Limits
- LLVM Compiler Infrastructure,
- Highly Avaliable Storage (HAST),
- SU+J Journaled softupdates for UFS,
- ZFSv28,
- Userland Ttrace,
- Generic GEOM I/O Scheduler Framework,
- Changes to CAM and AHCI SATA,
- Five New TCP Congestion Control Algorithms,
- Changes to Event Timer Infrastructure,
- High Performance SSH (HPN-SSH),
- improved USB 3.0 support,
- large-scale SMP support for systems with more
than 32 CPUs.
- default support for NFSv4 nfsd(8),
- the kernel now supports a new textdump(4) format
of kernel dumps.
- sysinstall has been replaced with bsdinstall,
- FreeBSD 9.0 can be installed on the Sony Playstation 3,
- call and return rule actions were added to ipfw(8)
